Went to college today to collect my official results *cos there's a little part of me that needs to be sure i really got that*
wakaka..okay so i don't usually suffer from low self belief but, when i do it's really bad.
met up with sam and june for lunch and among other things which i shall go into later.
by the way, sam looks really really hot now!!shall upload my pics when i bother to install the stupid software..ish ish i'm such a bum.
apparently today was awards ceremony for them top scorers. out of the hundred or so top scorers with three A's and above, there were only seven from the humanities.*made me feel so muchie better*
actually Sam was supposed to attend, but after viewing her *formal* outfit...
sadly,
i'd set the fashion police on her..
bleh...june and i were just staring...seriously...just staring...
thank god you didn't do it sam!!!proud of you babes..
somehow got roped into a Singapore Managament University talk with June.the talk was actually quite interesting...
especially the part about internships and double degrees.
since she did it in groups, it just the four of us(plus another SAM girl) and a laptop presentation of SMU.it also helped that the representative was really nice.
of course Sam and i were really sesat there and i was reading my Times Good University Guide under the table..
at first June wasn't too keen on SMU thinking it was some ciplak crappy university..
till we realised it did have transfer programmes to Wharton and Carnegie Mellon..gah
*why didn't i think of singapore!!*
representative : used to be all the NUS rejects came to us, now it's the other way around...
................
okay..so it was getting quite intimidating...
then had to rush home for a family dinner with family friends.but it was okay since andrew and annabelle were there.
unfortunately for us, some moments were pretty awkward especially when they began exchanging jokes about their sons girlfriends.
can you imagine your mom talking about strategies to handle her offspring's special someonE??
"just leave them alone..."
"they always bring their girlfriends to their rooms. don't know what they do inside"
bleh..i..*almost*..wanted die....
until they got to the part about divorce...
and them advising us about divorce..
"pre nuptial agreements are so unnatural"
then i wanted to die...
anyways, talking about good winter clothes,
"zara has a really good winter line."
aiyo....i mean the one shop i swore never to EVER shop in has good winter jackets!!damn sad....guess i've got to unswear it.^_^
apparently, the first winter jacket i've been advised to buy should be navy blue or black.
and i've found out my orientation's on the 13th of september!!
ish ish..so i might be going sooner than expected...
