Everything's been a whirlwind lately.
Since i got my results...
Never in my life.
First time ever i cried for my results..
But not really out of joy
It was more of
*does this mean i'm really leaving?*
So bleh...
A A B D
I got D for maths. So de sad...actually, not suprising since
Jesze : I got C for maths..
which means
a) fuck..meaning i'd be getting fail or summit..*so D is best case scenario*
and
b) Poor ms suzzie..
wakakaka...
damn sad..lucky i didn't fail tho...
Socio became my savior.
Bleh...so the afternoons of playing quadrapop, doodling cute little hearts, and sitting at the back in class totally paid of. ^_^

So Wednesday was spent chilling with my darling *love you to bits roomie* ended up doing some lame ass poor man's karoake session which consisted of my brother on the piano and us singing.
since i only had old songs, it was moon river, somewhere out there, memory..kinda songs...haha had tons of fun warbling away..

Then came Penang!!!
Yes, i admit the one of the main reasons to go Penang was for the food.
But then there was ipoh.
We stopped by for lunch. Jesze's Uncle Rodney took us around. Apparently he is THE guy to go for when it comes to food.
I'm impressed.
Really i am.
He brought us to some Ipoh Tauge chicken place. Which is essentially chicken rice. With hor fun. So de nice..
but even better..due to his love of food..we went to more than one place...

need i say more?

of course we couldn't leave ipoh without visiting the caves!! *ipoh's famous for them...i think*
So..Perak caves it was..
I kinda tot we could just pray pray and enjoy the cool caves breeze..
but NOOOO..
there were steps to climb...
and so we did climb..
and climb...
it's worse than kek lok si..
it's worse than batu caves..
the stairs were so de steep...
we were all almost dying
but bionic woman continued..
so we had to follow.
our reward? the whole wonderful view of ipoh!! *yay*
plus a statue to pray. but i think it's for hindus.

stoned poses...

so back we were on our way to penang.Anyways, i have just realised, the bios has really crappy air circulation. The way the air cons are situated..it doesn't point directly to the back seats. so jin, jesze and i were literally frying at the back.
The only thing i clearly remember is the HEAT. It's so incredibly hot over there.
So we took her to the normal places..kek lok si, penang hills, botanical gardens..
bleh..penang is becoming so commercialised now.
At kek lok si, they have malaysia's first inclined lift to go to guan yin's temple.
We had to PAY 4 bucks. Ish ish...i mean how can it's a temnple right..and it was still under construction..
course we had to climb the pagoda there. more steps...
felt like the whole trip we were doing nothing but climbing steps...

Then there was the botanical gardens. Which we walked in the farking hot sun for 15 minutes because a certain Penang-ian claimed there was a waterfall where we could cool of.
Halfway through..
"so you hear the water fall? just follow the drain along the road..that's where the waterfall flows to"
when we arrive to a half empty river..
"eh where's the waterfall?"
*talking on the phone with his friend about the mysterious missing waterfall*
"what you mean boh liao(no more)!!??"
get this...there was NO waterfall!!

then there was penang hill.i know remmber why i SWORE never to EVER return the last time i went up with yen li.
Ahh...the tram ride..with NO AIR CON. and going at the speed of 100 metres a minute*well it felt like it*took us an half an hour to reach the top.
which made even the bionic woman start yelling "hayaku hayaku !!(faster faster)"
on a sad note, they don't have anymore rented bicycles over there...T_T

I had the best nasi kandar in penang. I am so in love with the gravy curry. and the potatoes and cockles. it's really adddictive..i'm still craving it.

oh.we went to batu ferringhi. now i know why june loved pulau perhantian so much. Since kaori brought a underwater camera, we were all feeling real guilty cos we didn't have the time to bring her to langkawi and such. so batu feringghi it was. well there was paragliding, horse rides, jet skis, banana boats *shiver*
we took the package
130 = paragliding, banana boat *kaori was so into it*, and jet skis.
quite reasonable.
luckily, it was getting really dark, technically we didnt' have to do the banana boat. well we only survived one wave cos the seas were getting really choppy.
*jesze and i were secretly hoping we didn't need to get on*
we have a new banana boat champion.
Bionic woman!
while the ex-champion *ahem* was the first one to get thrown off, bionic woman bravely hung on *until her contacts fell off*. wakaka....
but paragliding was fun!!

the one place that was really worth is was the snake temple!!!
Last time i went, i vaguely remember the snakes being light green..but it's bigger now...no snakes at the temple per se. there's a snake farm..*which you have to pay* The snake farm was fantastical!! you get to play with snakes and lizards.which is seriously more fun than it sounds. especially touching the snakes..i can understand why people pay thousands for snake skin purses etc..
And it's bigger.
A lot commercialised.

More pictures and hon pan's suprise party to come!
