So i was listening to "gasolina" by daddy yankee on the stereo when my kong kong comes in and gets all huffy on me. I all started when:
Kong kong : I've listened to this song until i'm tired of it. Everyday twice in the morning one time in the afternoon another.
(which brings us to 2 interesting relevations)
1. Way to bring the coolness level of that song down.
2. WTF my grandpa listens to fly and hitz fm??? what happened to light and easy for the older people???
Me :(shocked)
Kong Kong : and that other song. I've listened to it till i'm sick of it.
Me : What song? Is it that ne-yo song? (note - i tot the operative word was sick)
Kong Kong : That song. The one My lover my lover "eoyo eoyo"(tt's him trying to sing in tune)
Me : i dunno, is it ne-yo?
OMG.then it hit me. It was that James Blunt's song "goodbye my lover"! And i agree with him.
Radio stations have this idiotic penchant of playing the same songs over and over again until you're so sick(pardon the pun) of hearing it. The songs that always get played every friggin day :
1. Stupid Girls
2. So Sick
3. Run it
4. Goodbye my lover
5. Twisted transistor(can you hate a song because you despise the music video?)
6. That lame song by james legend
7. Check up on it
8. Testify (irritating)
9. Heard em say
10. Beep
11. L.o.v.e
12. Songs by the narcissist Fort minor. (remember the name, believe me)
13. Eleanor
14. Move along
15. dance dace (is it just me or does move along and dance dance sound almost alike?)
just goes to show how predictibly lame radio stations are.
speaking of l.o.v.e, it's just really depressing cos it's our theme(jess and i) song. Everytime we get in the car either that song's playing OR it WILL be played. Which is just sad,since i have a major dislike for it. How much can you take that woman mumbling L.o.l.o.l.o.V.E before you go l.o.l.o.l.o.C.O?
