Whoa !

so i had the oppurtunity to catch gol and gincu on channel 8 last night. Wad people, malaysian based productions aren't as bad people say they are ! There's sepet...and...well there's sepet..did i mention sepet?
anyways, it was really awesomely funny. Unintentionally that it. The acting was unbelievable(and i mean in a bad way). In one scene where the heroine was crying it's like you can almost hear the director sayin "cry harder harder, turn your face away!!" i'm serious. you know brokeback mountain and sepet where you think acting is so damn easy ? i didn't realise how good actors act till well..i saw gol and gincu.sighs* shallow mua.and when you think everything's so brady bunch ( happy families, daughter lying to her mom cos futsal isn't a feminine thing to do, bla bla) serious stuff like incest comes in. OMG !! a chick flick with serious issues!! allow me to explain. The heroine sees her i fwen smoking and skipping school.
H : eh, you tak pergi sekolah?
Truant girl : .....
H : Okay, saya tak akan beritahu your mom if..
Truant girl ; ya?
H ; you come main futsal in my team.
truant girl : (smiles) okay !
wow...and i mean wow...heavy stuff...i'd ask her to go screw herself, but you know..happy stuff.
i did like some parts tho. like the malaysian english !! yeap, that's how real malaysians act.

and there were happening characters. I like that spunky zie( the chinese tomboy/coach/buddy buddy). well, it's always worth a watch if you have nothing better to do tho...:P
