The Chronicles
Oh my god I am damn freaking happy. I just got my internet back!!!! Yeah, so I can keep this bloggie updated.Let’s see, what did I do today? Well, I’ll just start with Monday and go up to Wednesday.
Monday, 10th October
I was there for hmmm….i can’t remember what reason, oh yeah, It was for the law talk and mock trial. Actually the law talk wasn’t really a law talk, just an hour of highly entertaining policemen stories. The policemen that was giving the presentation wasn’t some run of the mill low ranking fella you get in school talks that lecture about playing truant. He spoke perfect English and does homicide cases. Then he started showing us all the murder pictures. There were slash victims, mass murder photos, and the was even a little baby who’s hand was cut off. I was this close to throwing up. I don’t get how Jin and June managed to stay through the whole thing. My stomache was churning.
Well after that Jin,Saiful, Alan, June, Marcus and I went foos-ing. I was so fun !! It was two on two. Jin and I were undefeatable !! We were the foos queens. Mr Marcus was as usual damn farnie.. With this blur look on his face all the time.
After that was the mock trial. I really tought the defence was better than the prosecution, but since the accused invoked her right to silence bullshit the judge found her guilty !!! Well at least now we know in Malaysian Courts that’s what they’ll do. Shut up and you’re dead. The defence should have just NOT asked for no defence to answer.
Tuesday, 11th October
Hmmm….went for my LNAT today. Apparently I was the only one for the day. Dammit, there was like practically no supervision, I was even sms-ing in the room. Well the questions wasn’t that bad. I mean if you concentrate on it then it’s fine. But I totally screwed up my essay. There was nothing sane to choose. The choices were
a) Smokers should not be given free treatment in hospitals
b) If parking on yellow lines resulted in the death penalty and nobody did it, would It be a good law.
c) There should be absolutely no censorship in a free society
d) Young adults should take one year of before going to university
e) Forgot this one
So I ended up writing three paragraphs on d) . Bad idea
Wednesday 12th October
Today was law extra class. What did we learn? Sentencing. And no matter how much I learn it. I can never seem to memorize reparation order, action plan order etc. Oh man, but It seems real important though. After that I went with Alan, Jin and Mr Marcus. We went to One Utama’s arcade. I feel so bad since we were supposed to go watch a movie but my crappy MUET ended up taking two and a half hours !!! Well, I slept for the first two hours. Seems lately they’re my hangout buddies and we always get into some stooopid chyt trouble together. Like today, Alan’s car almost got knocked I SWEAR knocked down by some insane driver in a teeny weeny beeny shit car. Thankfully with Alan’s great driving skills the worst was as he said and I quote “My heart stopped beating” unquote. I guess mine would too, if my car was like a week old.
P.S Missed you jessze baby !!!
