Dreams vs ambition
Gosh, today i woke up at like 8.00 . yeah, i'm doing this filial piety thing again. Last night, my trials results arrived. My mom totally screwed me,which was totally justified. hmmm....she thinks i've been a total recluse/biatch to her cos I've been rude to her. Actually, the truth is, i've been kinda ashamed with myself for not giving her the expected results. So acting aloof is my defense mechanism.
I've been wondering lately, the difference between these dreams and ambition. Is ambition the more realistic word for dream.? okay, never mind the thesaraus just confirmed it. Oh well, so that's that. I can officially proclaim that law is not my ambition and dream. I just cant' see myself studying case law and debating over inconsequestial details of whether stupid mary has the right to return a faulty haidryer or not and if she does, what are her avenues of appeal. Puh-lease.
Lately, i've had a fascination over history and oriental studies. haha..i can just see myself poring over some musty history book for my research thesis. Just looking for the one missing jigsaw to complete my project.Or going to korea and living there just for the culture and people. One year transplated in a foriegn country.I'll probably be like that guy in Lost in Translation, homesick and lonely. But what the heck, it's life ...:-D
yeah, sounds fantastical.
Moocake season's almost over, fortunately. Oh my god, i just don't see the point in mooncake season !!! seriously it's like some sort of chinese christmas, only instead of pressies, you get moon cake. I mean, seriously, what's the point in exchanging 60 bucks worth of mooncakes around when people don't even eat it. yes, i do not have a particular fondness for that sweetish, salty egg yoke-ish thing. just the thought of it makes me hurl.
okay, back to the suitability of tribunals compared to courts in civil disputes.
see you later, space cowboy !! hahaha
