So finally enough time to blog!! Urgh...unintentionally. Unfortunately, set my alarm *unknowingly* an freaking hour earlier.Since classes start at 12, i THOUGHT i set my alarm at 10.30. Just enough time to take a bath, a hurried cup of coffee and rush of to school. After my bath, I rushed to chill in front of my computer hopefully squeeze an episode of Sex and the City and enjoy the London sun. Course that was before I looked at the time.It was only 10.10!!!it was... Very depressing. Me who never wakes up unless absolutely necessary. Me who NEVER gets out of bed until the sun's almost setting.*well i learn from the best.nyek* Damn merajuk man.

So a quick update of what i've been doing lately. Time's passing so fast now. Haven't really had the time to update. I've found my new found joy of cooking again! As usual, my maternal instincts have kicked in once again. Someehow managed to convince my friends to have a cook off ie where everyone gets together and makes a dish. Sort of like pot luck. I volunteered to do the vegetables.
Nyek so it went pretty good. After like 5 attempts, finally managed to make decent kang kung belacan!!!
okie....with some help from Kevin and Regina.

It was awesome fun, cracking open a bottle of wine with pretty decent home cooked food around. ^_^

Then was the Linklaters bowling event. I went cos it was quite unusual for a legal firm to have meet potential interns through bowling. Most of the time these meet ups happen in their offices. And free bowling!!!woohoo!! The trainee solicitors at Linklaters were pretty nice. But bowling's a great team sport to break the ice tho.
Okies, time for public law..toodles!

So I’m back from Cambridge. Went up to Cambridge for the weekend for Andrew’s birthday dinner. I was such a tiring day. Woke up at 2 pm feeling very weird. My lower back was aching again. Which turned out to be period pains. Usually my pains are fine. Just take two panadols and lie down for a while. But this time, it happened again. Half way through my shower, I had a nauseous attack again. It was like my KLCC aquarium episode. I felt terribly dizzy and I remember rushing to the toilet bowl and staring at it for a while. Finally gathered enough strength to get up to which I proceeded to lie on my bed for the next two hours. At first, I didn’t have enough energy to get out of bed and get my cereal. I was that weak. In the end I had my cereal box beside me with me lying down and eating cereal. Damn.Sad.
I think Andrew has the unenviable title of being my period bringer. Every single time I see him, I always seem to be having my period!! Super freaky. Finally managed to get on the train to Cambridge just in time for dinner at some Chinese restaurant courtesy of Uncle and Auntie. Being properly English-fied he even had the seating arrangements planned out. Ended up sitting next to him *naturally* and some guy taking Anglo Saxon Norse Celtic or Ansac. It’s a course exclusive to Cambridge teaching the three dead languages. Well, don’t suppose it’d be of any economic use, other than sifting to really old manuscripts deciphering old texts.

He had one of the coolest cakes ever too. A piano cake!! Considering he's allergic to chocolate and butter, it was a pretty good fake cake!

i just realised, the candles spell his name!so it's true us humans have selective eyesight..

Later went for drinks back an Andrew’s place. Had some wine and great conversation. We chatted till 5 am about life, America and politics. I got very fascinated with this lamp he had at his place. It looks like a conical tube, but it’s really…damn….cool. All you have to do is wave your hand and across the tube opening and the lights would switch on!!! To make it dimmer or brighter on merely puts the hand over the tube and make up and down motions.

Sunday was great, wokee up late...walked around Cambridge. Since it was a beautiful sunny day.Stopped by the Copper Kettle for a full english breakfast at 2pm. It was absolutely brilliant. The Copper Kettle is this little teahouse right opposite King's College Cambridge chapel. So you get a beautiful view and pretty decent bacon.

It feels great when you manage to cram two months worth of work into one night. Till you realise you have to read about 80 pages for week ten.
Well hopefully my hypothetical victim for criminal law is some homicide victim and not assault and battery.
Die...die....
ignore the pun.
