mmmmmmm....today shall be about *almost* insane klang drivers and great dinners..
since one of my wishes before leaving for the uk was to go for klang bak kut teh. bleh...i've been craving malaysian food so much lately...mmm...came to a point where i had a *sorta* mission to find the best nasi kandar in kl...till my jeans started feeling tighter that is...
nyek..anyways that mission was a total failure. maybe there just isn't good nasi kandar down south. humph...the penang people don't know how good they have it..
back to the bak kut teh...paid ms tan june yin a long overdue visit. and of all days for it to rain so early in the morning, it had to be to-freakin-day.
klang on a rainy dady...cosying up in a bak kut teh stall with hot tea and yummy soup...
fantastic stuff..
till we had to walk back to the car, and i stepped into a mud puddle..my poor vinccis *who's survived overflowing drains and rainy days..now mud puddles...i'm going to retire those flip flops when i leave* and my dirty toes!
yuck..
wakaka...and we got our own authentic klang person to drive us around. of course being an authentic klang person isn't really something to shout about *tho i do love and appreciate you did that...cos you know i'd be freaking out if i had to drive in klang*
some things about klang drivers.
klang drivers conduct conversations with other cars.not really conversations but monologues..
"ooi, quick lar stupid move"
"eh why you stopping in the middle of the road"
of course it isn't really effective when the only audiences are the passengers..
klang drivers also have the tendency of beating traffic lights. road rules are merely guidelines.they take is as a given that once the light is red, one has a ten second grace period.
which was why june was really calm while i was freaking out when she so calmly beat the red light while looking at her gas tank..
there's indiscriminate blaring of the horn in weirdest situations...
and the part i love most..
pedestrians ARE always right...wakaka...mess with them and you mess with the whole town..
so alan and moi went for dinner with jesze's parents...
wakaka...her dad is damn funny.
"hey, did you know there's this old retaurant in middletown, a favourite of all the old students,it just got burned down the other day"
mmmmm..
so i'm thinking how he knows almost everything about middletown and the university..
you'd almost think he was a student at wesley...nyek...
apparently there's family forum and student blogs to get all the info from...
argh!! and i just sign my parents up for some family programme king's!!
great...i am descending into the world on constant surveillance...
on the bright side, felt so nostalgic going back there again. course they're *almost* like my second family now..*sniffle*
okaylar..i'm also damn touched..cos they gave me an ang pow, since i'm going overseas and all..
serious damn touched..
ish ish
