Whoa !

i'm reading this novel, lolita and it's really disturbing. not because i have to check the ditcionary every two pages(i'm not joking) but because it is repulsive. to those of you that know me, it does take a lot to disgust me. Momo thinks nabokov's a genius with words. and he is...the way he write it captivates me.The beginning's fantastic. Lolita, the light of my life, the fire of my loins,. My sin my soul. Yeah, that got me hooked. what a love story eh? not when the girl he's obsessed about's only 12 and he's like what..40+?. I mean i wasn't even this disgusted when kafka on the shore's protoganist had hypothetical sex with his own mother, but lolita..dear me...is really sickening.Now i can't stop reading it cos it's just too compelling, but when i do , i stop after a couple of pages when it becomes unbearable. sighs..never thought a book could screw me up so badly. haha anyways if you see me acting weird or distracted, you'd know why.=D


on a lighter note, pet safari is a really fascinating place to go to when you've got nothing to do. especially the creepy crawly section. they've got spiders, snakes, iguanas, geckos...huhu you name it. i saw a racoon there!! damn ulu right..i know..
anyways had this conversation with moi alan who bravely teman-ed me into the reptilian section...
alan : six feet?(refers to snakes) this snake is so small wan..
(that particular snakes it seems can grow up to like 12 feet)
me : em....i think it's quite big lar...do you know even HOW BIG 12 feet is???!!?
alan : not that big wut....
me : it's twice your size ..
alan : oh....(big eyes)

wakaka good rates....innit....the first official pet hotel anyways...




they've even cashed into this world cup thing!! i actually tot they were baby clothes...



haha my dog'll love me for that. too bad i don't have one...





wakaka try dressing kai sin(seriously i was thinking about it when i saw THAT) in this. lol..i think it'll beat her sulking when you shave her bald yearly..don't kill me. lucky dogs are color blind.


of course moi alan likes this one. lol...haha...i think it's cute too...

off course we went to check out the latest cinema. well it wasn't as cold as kat claims it was AND it wasn't that comfortable either!! i prefer gsc. and the movie we watched..ppppffftt.....stay alive. they should change the title to stay awake. enough said...

i am craving for that green tea ice cream tho...mmmmmm better than haagen daaz' one...
oh and yeah child of our time on hallmark is pretty good too. haha forget all that's you've been taught in sociology and watch it!!!
